Vic & Paul – A Special Announcement by the Sea in Polignano a Mare


When Vic and Paul first reached out to me, I immediately sensed this wouldn't be just another couple shoot. They were looking for something meaningful, intimate, and joyful: a way to announce the arrival of their first baby. And they wanted to do it in a way that truly reflected who they are – simple, loving, and deeply connected to the sea and to life’s little shared moments.

We chose Polignano a Mare as our backdrop, with its white cliffs, narrow old-town streets, and that golden light that seems to make everything feel more real. We began the morning with a swim at Port'Alga, a peaceful cove away from the crowds. Between dives, smiles, and tender gestures, I started capturing – letting their bond guide me more than any posing rules ever could.

In the afternoon, we wandered through the heart of the town, among flower-filled balconies and quiet alleyways. I kept filming and shooting in a documentary style, letting them set the pace and be themselves. Nothing was staged, everything was real.

The result is a small visual diary – a blend of photos and video that gently tells the story of a new beginning. An announcement that doesn’t need many words, because you can see it in their eyes, in the way they hold each other.
